Anybus CompactCom Integration
Anybus CompactCom Starter Kits
Diamond Technologies offers a starter kit that provides everything needed to comprehensively test and evaluate the capabilities of the Anybus CompactCom. The starter kit enables you to perform in-depth assessments of communication speed, latency, and try out different network combinations before starting production.
Within the Starter Kit case, you’ll find all the essential boards, adapters, and cables required for evaluating Anybus CompactCom. But please note that the actual Anybus CompactCom module or brick needs to be ordered separately.
Host Application Example Code
Download the Anybus Host Application Example Code (HAEC) to speed up the development process for any target application!
Diamond Technologies provides a free source-level HAEC in C language, complete with a driver that can serve as the foundation for your implementation. The driver separates the low-level host interface communication from the host application software and provides easy-to-use function calls for common Anybus-related tasks. The driver is fully OS-independent and can even be used without an operating system if required.
The HAEC supports all major fieldbus and Industrial Ethernet protocols, making it a great way to quickly evaluate the Anybus CompactCom for your application.
Moreover, the HAEC comes with pre-made ports for the Anybus CompactCom Starter Kit and is compatible with a variety of embedded microcontroller platforms, as detailed below.
Adapter Boards
Diamond Technologies offers a selection of adapter boards designed for testing the Anybus CompactCom module with a Raspberry Pi, STM32, or NXP (formerly Freescale) microcontroller platform. The adapter boards are fully compatible with the Anybus CompactCom module and HAEC, ensuring a fast and smooth start to your design. Please note that the Anybus CompactCom module needs to be ordered separately.
