MIN-E
The MIN-E is a decoded ultra-compact high performance 2D embedded barcode scan module. The MIN-E embedded barcode module can be utilized in three formats including Enclosed with ABS enclosure, Integrated Assembly for easy mounting, and Remote Scan Engine assembly which allows for separate mounting of the decoder board and scan engine.
The Integrated Assembly including decoder board, barcode scan engine, and communications interface board measures just 23 x 42 x 27 mm. Supported communications interfaces include RS232, UART, and USB interface.
The MIN-E embedded OEM barcode module is specifically designed for limited space barcode applications in medical devices, lab instrumentation and small form factor kiosks. The MIN-E has an exceptional high-speed sensor which enables image capture at a full 60 frames per second. The embedded barcode reader has great motion tolerance and a steady white illumination which provides excellent barcode reading even inside a closed OEM machine.
The scanner also features an outstanding depth-of-field, a large field-of-view, and high performance reading and decoding of even poorly printed bar codes. The MIN-E embedded barcode module was further designed to improve ease of use and the user experience with OEM medical devices, lab instruments, and kiosk applications.
